English Summary

The Circle of Studies on International Human Rights Law (Círculo de Estudios de Derecho Internacional de los Derechos Humanos, CEDIDH) it’s a group formed in August 2020, one year after the International Human Rights Law Seminar, which was held at the Austral University of Chile, in the city of Valdivia. It was created with the aim of promoting human rights among the students and the general population, in addition to the study of International Human Rights Law (IHRL) that allows these issues to be put on the agenda.

To fulfill it’s objectives of promotion, dissemination, education and awareness about human rights and issues related to International Human Rights Law, it carries out activities that have the presentation of prominent academics and people linked to IHRL, who are invited to exhibit in these instances. In addition, as a complement to the events it holds, either in person or online, it shares information and content related to these matters in its different channels, reaching a large number of people in Latin America and the world, with special emphasis on the work of the organs of the Inter-American Human Rights System, such as the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
